How to play Eggy Car

Each run starts the same way: a car, a single egg and a road that never stops.

You drive across rolling hills and steep climbs while the egg moves with every change in speed.

Accelerate too hard and it will fall off the back. Brake suddenly and it will fall off the front. Even small bumps can shake it loose if you go too fast.

The goal is simple: go farther than last time before the egg finally flies off.

Controls

Eggy Car only uses two controls, but that doesn't make it easy. Winning runs come from precise taps, not holding the gas. Small inputs give you control when the egg starts to wobble.

• Desktop: Use A / D or the left and right arrows
• Mobile: Tap on the accelerator to move forward and the brake to stop/reverse.

On mobile, the game must be played in landscape mode.

There are 5 vehicles you can unlock by collecting coins during runs.

Each vehicle changes how stable the egg feels. Faster cars punish mistakes quickly, while heavier ones give you time to react but are harder to save once things go wrong.

Eggy Car power-ups

There are 2 power-ups in Eggy Car. They don't change how the game works, but they can briefly interrupt a run that's about to fall apart.

• Freeze: Activates instantly when collected, locking the egg in place for a few seconds. It triggers automatically, which means it often activates when you don't need it
• Magnet: Automatically pulls in coins along your path while it's active. It helps you collect more coins during a run, but it doesn't affect the egg's movement or make driving any safer.

Eggy Car survival tips

• Tap the accelerator in short bursts: Tap the gas instead of holding it down. Two or three quick taps keep the egg from falling out at the top of a hill.
• Ease off before the top of a hill: The worst moment to accelerate is right at the top. Let the car slow slightly before the top so the egg doesn't slide back or launch forward on the drop.
• Brake gently as you start going downhill: A light brake at the start of a drop settles the egg. Waiting until the car is already falling usually sends it straight off the front.
• Pause between hills, even when it feels safe: When the road flattens out, resist speeding up immediately. Give the egg a second to stop wobbling before the next bump arrives.
• Watch the egg, not the car: The egg shows you what's actually about to go wrong. If it starts drifting, change speed straight away.
