Smash Karts is a multiplayer io game where every match drops you into a fast kart battle to smash other real players using weapons scattered around the arena.

Matches begin in chaos. Rockets fly everywhere while karts collide and players rush towards the loot boxes.

After a few rounds, you start to recognise what's happening. You learn where weapons spawn and where players tend to drive. Now you can drop traps to smash them before they see you coming.

How Smash Karts works

Each match lasts 3 minutes. That short timer means early eliminations matter more than playing safe.

The first thing strong players do is grab the nearest loot box. The opening weapon often leads to the first knockout, which puts you ahead right away.

Every elimination adds to your total, so staying aggressive scores higher than trying to avoid fights.

You need to keep moving. Fire your weapon and change direction immediately to dodge incoming fire. Players who slow down after attacking are usually eliminated within seconds.

When you get smashed, you respawn in 3 seconds and re-enter the fight. Because you return so quickly, it's easy for you to attack and get immediate revenge.

You earn XP for every smash you get in a round. This lets you level up and unlock new items and customizations.

Mines	⭐⭐⭐⭐	Place near item boxes or tight corners where players naturally drive.
Spikey-Go-Round	⭐⭐⭐⭐	Rewards aggressive driving. Push through traffic to deal damage while moving.
Invincibility	⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐	Lets you attack without worrying about damage for a short time. Use it to chase, not hide.
Fake Lootbox	⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐	Trap disguised as an item box. Place it in high-traffic pickup spots.

Smash Kart game types

• Free For All: Everyone fights everyone. One smash equals one point. Highest score wins.
• Capture the Flag: Red vs Blue team mode. Steal the enemy flag and return it to your base. Carrying the flag stops you from picking up weapons, so teammates must block enemies while you focus on escaping.
• Hat Holder: Hold the hat for a set amount of time to win. Losing control resets your progress. Winning means staying alive, so you spend more time dodging attacks than chasing fights.
• Gem Collector: You gather gems around the arena, but losing a fight drops them, so knowing when to drive away is just as important as attacking. The first person to collect the required amount of gems wins.
• Arms Race: Get a smash to unlock the next weapon. Advance through all weapons to win.
• Kart Krusher: Collect keys to become the Kart Krusher. Smash into players to score.
• Candy Rush: Collect candy around the arena. Getting smashed drops some of your stash. The player with the most candy by the end wins.
• Score Target: Team-based or free for all. First to reach the score goal wins.

Private games

You can create private games to play with friends using your own match rules. Choose the mode, arena, weapons, match length and number of players to build your own session.

Private matches let you test modes, play casually with friends, or practice without changing your progress. Private games do not give you any XP.

Smash Kart customizations

You can customize your character and kart with visual unlocks earned through leveling up, completing challenges and playing in minigames.

• Characters: You unlock new characters naturally as you play, giving you more ways to personalise your look. Many characters are designed as animals or playful fantasy figures like dragons and aliens.
• Hats: Hats add personality to your character. They range from wizard hats to top hats or funny items like plungers and saucepans.
• Karts: Kart customisation lets you change colors, effects, and accessories so your vehicle stands out during matches. These changes are visual only and do not affect performance.
